Alumni Career Talks becomes KLU Career We.Q.
We would like to invite you to our upcoming "Humanitarian Logistics Session moderated by KLU Prof. Dr. Maria Besiou!

Date: Friday, February 19th
Time: 6:30 pm
Place: Zoom Meeting

What is KLU Career We.Q.?

Adapting to the "new normal", we had to let go of our much loved tradition of face to face speed dating alummi career events. We are upscaling to two full weeks of career talks! Each evening covers a different topic. Learn about various career paths, companies, career decisions, words of wisdom, etc. This is a unique chance to meet KLU alumni, and to network with them via Zoom. The event offers a platform for discussing best practices for successfully shaping your career.

These are our alumni speakers:

Cecile Terraz (Global Director of Supply chain & Procurement at Plan International, Switzerland)
Florian Luckner (Head of Supply Chain Cash-Based Transfers and Markets at World Food Programme, Italy)
Hugo Chaignaud (Project Manager at HELP Logistics, Senegal)
Jennifer Esterle (Sales Operations Planning Manager at Edesia Nutrition, USA)
Nimisha Gopakumar (Shelter/NFI and Logistics Officer at IOM - UN Migration, Italy)
Alexandra Vasila (Logistics Coorinator at Norwegian Refugee Counsil, Iraq)

....The speaker list is subject to change till the evening of the event....

What will the event setup be like?

The first part consists of a number of personal alumni speaker pitches where alumni are invited to share with you what they deem to be of importance to share (words of wisdon, their their career paths, work fields, info about their employer, etc.) followed by a 15 min Q&A Panel.

In the second part there will be 10 - 15 min small group discussions in break out rooms. Speakers will be automatically switched from one room to the next to allow small group speaking time with all break out room groups.

The third part invites all participants after the wrap-up to stay a little longer to mix and mingle maybe even with a virtual after session beer till approx. 8:30 pm ;o)

Follow up on an interesting lead heard during one of the mini-pitches, find out more from an alumni working with your dream employer, how did internationals enter the German labor market? As part of the session, you'll have the chance to ask your individual questions.

Provide your question during the below given registration process, or send them to recruit@the-klu.org beforehand. Alternatively, you may enter them in the chat during the session.
